About

Troy was first elected to the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Association board of directors in 2019. Troy’s passion for snowmobiling was engrained at a young age as his family has a long history of snowmobiling since the early 70’s. He has snowmobiled in a variety of areas of Saskatchewan from his hometown in the extreme SE corner of Saskatchewan at Carnduff to riding at the family cottages at White Bear and Candle Lake.

Troy along with wife Pam live at Carlyle were they have raised their daughter and son. Troy is a member of the Moose Mountain Snowmobile Club and currently serves as President. Troy volunteers with his club doing trail staking, signing, grooming, trail funding and administration. He believes that the club volunteers are the strength of the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Association and we must all work together to further enhance recreational snowmobiling in the province.

Troy is committed to see the SSA advance the recreation of snowmobiling though a variety of activities including trail sustainability, promotion of safety course education, snowmobile registrations and safe grooming operations. He believes open communication is key with volunteers and he welcomes clubs to contact him with any questions, suggestions or concerns.
