About

My name is Richard Price, I am the newest Director on the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Association board.  I was elected at the AGM in June 2025.    

I got into snowmobiling later in life but once I got a taste I was hooked.  I have tried to make up for lost time ever since.  I have been in law enforcement for almost 30 years.  I initially got involved in Snowmobile safety training, becoming an instructor in 1998.  I am a current board member (secretary) of the Prince Albert Trail Riders club.  I try to get away on weekend sled trips every winter to enjoy the wonderful trail systems and to experience the different areas in the province.  My wife of 25+ years and I recently became empty nesters.  I wanted to use some of my “free time” to give back to this wonderful sport by joining the SSA.  I am hoping to grow my knowledge by becoming a groomer and trail evaluator in the future. 

I look forward to the opportunity to represent Saskatchewan residents as a member of the SSA board.
