About

I grew up in the Prince Albert area and have been active an active snowmobiler since 1975.  I have a large family of six children, now all adults and starting families of their own which include eight grandchildren.  At some point in time, all of my family have actively enjoyed snowmobiling right down to the youngest being towed by his mom in his coach at 13 months old.  During 20 years in the NWT, snowmobiling was much more than leisure time, it was a way of life and it is the NWT where I developed my passion for getting out on a snowmobile.  Also, for the past twenty years, snowmobiling has made up a good part of my work life as well.  I have worked for a Wood Bison big game outfitter, owned a snowmobile dealership in Hay River, NT, have worked for one of the largest snowmobile retailers in the world, and currently I am employed by Yamaha Motors Canada.  I enjoy riding wherever friends and family will join me, with my most enjoyable passion being riding in the mountains.

I've owned and operated every brand of snowmobile and I really have no specific preference to one brand over another, but I can say for me, there is no riding exhilaration that can compare to a 4 stroke turbo ripping across a Northern trail or climbing up a slope in a powder filled bowl!

I became involved with the establishment of Prince Albert Trail Riders club in 2015 after it became clear that the lack of a representative club in Prince Albert was creating a negative impact on snowmobiling enjoyment for anyone that has a passion for the sport.  As a founding member, I have served as inaugural club President to present date.

I hope that I will be able to accurately convey to the board the interests of all snowmobilers and the snowmobile industry in Saskatchewan during my term as Director and I invite one and all to feel welcome to contact me to discuss our mutual love for snowmobiling at any time.
